Foreign Scholarship in Bangladesh: A New Era with SISP

For years, foreign scholarships have remained out of reach for many Bangladeshi students, despite the country’s abundance of talent. Limited international presence and reliance on highly competitive embassy-based programs left thousands without opportunity.

This landscape began to change in 2023 with the arrival of the Shaker International Scholarship Programs (SISP). Unlike distant institutions, SISP operates directly in Bangladesh, offering 100% free scholarship assistance for both local and international studies.

Traditionally, Bangladeshi students depended on programs such as Chevening or Fulbright, which serve only a small fraction of applicants. Many universities lacked active partnerships with foreign scholarship providers, limiting access for students from financially struggling backgrounds.

SISP was founded to close this gap. The program focuses on underrepresented students, providing hands-on guidance, mentorship, and leadership development alongside financial assistance.
